Woolgathering
This is part of an ongoing personal project. I take my favorite big words and do a little animation to define them. It's mostly just an excuse to experiment freely in a short-attention span form.
I decided it would be fun to build a small set because I’ve never done it before. I’ve always dreamed about building one so I thought now would be a pretty good time to indulge my idle fantasy of creating a hilly seuss like world. I also loved the idea of making some wooly letters. The whole thing took about a month off an on to build. Angelo helped out a lot, mainly with all the mini carpentry of the house. Music by the ever so cheery Boy Least Likely To. This little short was also selected to be screened at Typophile Film Fest 5.
wool·gath·er·ing [wool-gath-er-ing], noun
1. Indulgence in idle fantasies and daydreaming.
Bonus: a behind the scenes look at me setting this thing up with my high tech rigs (ie, cooler, phone book, and board games on stools).
